Greed and Fear
At any effort to ram through legislation based on sudden mass hysteria motivated by either of these emotions, I will carefully scrutinize the bill. Many such laws have passed without even being read by the members of Congress and have taken away freedoms we have previously long enjoyed. It is said the devil is in the details. If we as a people want complete security that can be found in a maximum security prison.
The current wave of inspiring fear in order to shred our liberties shall not stand. The only thing worthy of our fear is God.
